The Suraiya-Khalek Foundation was born from the dream of two extraordinary people, who dreamed to build our society with education, justice and Equality. Our mother, Mrs. Suraiya Begum, was a wellspring of tenderness — like the mothers of Bangladesh, she sacrificed silently and gave without measure. Our father, Mr. A. M. A. Khalek, believed — “He who lives for others truly lives.” That belief is the very foundation on which SKF stands.

As a retired soldier, I have understood — true service begins not on a battlefield, but beside one’s own people. Our Bangladesh — this golden Bengal — is a land of remarkable compassion. SKF seeks to organize that enduring Bangladeshi spirit into lasting, meaningful action. In education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and support for the vulnerable — SKF will work not under any political banner, but solely from the duty of our shared humanity.

Abba, Ma — your children have not forgotten. Your dream lives on. May Allah grant you Jannatul Ferdous.
